Letter to Maayonanon High School Batch 1996 for the Planned December 2011 Batch Reunion

Guys: I am soliciting your excellent (and wild ^_^) ) suggestions about the planned batch reunion this December of 2011. As of this moment, we are on the process of knowing your favorable suggestions/ proposals that may contribute to the great success of this forthcoming event.

The “Maayonanon High School Batch 1996” has managed to reconnect a growing number of classmates and batchmates through our Facebook Group. In fact we are glad to know that a series of mini-reunions happened a month ago in Manila. And it has been 15 years since we have parted ways to take another level in our lives. Years gone by and we are sure that this event will once more re-unite us to what we are before. This coming December (Planned date) will be an opportunity for us to recall favorite memories of our days spent at our good Maayon Town specially at Maayon National High School. We may be receding in hairline, increasing in waistline, or the black may be turning into grey -- but hopefully, as we renew old ties and relive those years when we were still young and naïve – all these will somehow give us revitalized energy and vigor.

We are soliciting your suggestions to the following concerns:
1. Most favorable and comfortable date
2. Venue
3. Program of Activities
4. Committees
5. Teachers/advisers to be invited
6. Donation/sponsors/registration fee
7. …open for suggestions

We believe that this event will not be possible without your full and cooperative support. You can drop your comments and suggestions regarding this matter at our facebook group. This letter can also be viewed at http://maayonanonhsbatch96.blogspot.com/ blog that will contain also some of the updates of these said and upcoming events.

Focus and Objectives

...This year's planned batch reunion will be mainly to have fun, to rekindle and reminisce whatever bonds we had when we were in high school. Hopefully, with the planned activities lined up, we can, at the end of the reunion, be once again united, define ourselves as a class/batch, and start making initial plans to give a well thought out, substantial and meaningful donation/share to our alma mater.

Most of us are now professionals, successful business people, and a majority of us have reached a time in our lives when we are starting to think about giving back, blessing others as we have been blessed. I am sure that the fire of giving and starting a donation fund for MNHS will be ignited during this reunion.

God bless us all!

Welcome
